Before I started using this, I looked up videos from other users on how to use it properly. None mentioned that you have to wear it tightly around your waist, so that is key when using this product. The weight has to have something to "pull against" to spin around. You will use your knees. To use, you basically have to swing the weight to get it going and then bounce from side to side on each foot. The faster you bounce side to side, the more tension there is to keep the weight moving. I did notice my cardio increasing as my heart was beating faster when I was done
